Toronto hardcore veterans No Warning have taken stage few times since disbanding in 2005. Two years ago, the band decided to get back together and record a seven inch, Resurrection of the Wolf, followed by an appearance at a fest in Belgium in 2014. This year, the group emerged for a select string of gigs from New Jersey to California, playing with bands like Incendiary and Xibalba. Last month, they made their first Canadian appearance in over a decade at Heart Fest in Quebec. Shortly after, the band took to the UK and Netherlands. As a thank you to fans for the recent gigs, No Warning is releasing a new flexi on Lockin’ Out Records, a collaborative effort with Stussy. “Friends in High Places” is a crushing three minutes, reminiscent of their renowned 2002 release Ill Blood. Although there are no signs pointing towards a new record, at least we have this track to get by in the meantime.Take a listen to the new track below. Friends in High Places will be released as a limited pressing of 500 at the end of the month. You can pre-order it here.
