The Pro-Gun Activist on 'Who Is America?' Says Biting a Dildo 'Made Sense'

On Sunday's episode of Who Is America?, Sacha Baron Cohen continued his streak of embarrassing the hell out of conservatives with a segment featuring Dan Roberts, the pro-gun activist behind the Youth Shooters of America who's railed against Parkland survivors. Posing as the Israeli anti-terror expert Erran Morad, Cohen managed to get Roberts to chomp down on a dildo, somehow convincing him it was the only surefire way to escape a terrorist's beheading.

Now, Roberts is trying to explain how biting into a strap-on seemed like a reasonable piece of anti-terror training, telling the New York Times that he had no clue he was being duped—and that, at the time, sinking his teeth into "the sexual device" just "made sense."

"You have one chance to do something, or you’re certain you’re going to die. That’s the scenario they’ve laid out," Roberts told the Times. "I don’t know many people, if they were completely honest, that they would say they wouldn’t take that opportunity to maybe, hopefully, grab one thing to maybe save their lives."

But Roberts didn't just "grab" one thing—he bit a fake penis and got really into it, screaming things like "nobody move!" and "drop your weapons!" with his mouth clenched around the strap-on fixed to Cohen's crotch. And he didn't stop there, warning a roomful of imaginary terrorists that "my mouth is big enough for two of these," which, you know, went above and beyond what the training called for.

Roberts told the Times that even after he'd waddled around a gym floor with a dildo in his mouth while a bunch of cameras filmed him, he was "completely convinced" he was working with "legitimate I.D.F. special forces soldiers"—which just goes to show how good of a troll Cohen is. Now that he's found out standard anti-terror training does not necessarily involve biting a bad guy's dick, he's looking to sue—telling the Times he's "exploring what legal remedies may be available" for someone who humiliates themselves on national TV.

"This was a malicious, willful, and deliberate act on the part of Sacha Baron Cohen, the production company, and Showtime, who blatantly lied to me about the purpose of the entire thing, in a deliberate effort to humiliate me," Roberts told the Times.

Sure, Cohen and company placed the bait, but Roberts didn't have to take it—and he definitely didn't have to brag about being able to fit two dildos in his mouth while cameras were rolling.
