Dark Sky's Video "Silent Fall" is a Perfect Match for Monkeytown

Peep a track from the trio's forthcoming LP on Modeselektor's label.

It's about time Dark Sky released its debut album—and by the end of next week, that time will have come. Berlin label Monkeytown will release the British trio's album, imagin, and we're celebrating with the premiere of the video for "Silent Fall." The track clearly articulates how well Dark Sky's sound works with Modeselektor's label; it opens with mellow vocals and synths that slowly consume more space and gain momentum. The wonderfully melancholic video combines the everyday, grey tristesse of an average Londoner with the elegant grandeur of a bird of prey. It also depicts the faithful friendship that can develop between man and animal, as long as they have mutual respect for each other.
