BPM Organizers Turn Toronto’s RYZE Nightclub Into NEST

The grand opening weekend will feature performances by Black Coffee, Fehrplay, and the legendary Danny Tenaglia.

Toronto nightclub RYZE is undergoing a facelift yet again. The nightlife veterans behind The BPM Festival will join forces to turn RYZE into a new venture called NEST. The newly renovated space on College Street in Little Italy is set to reopen on May 15 with a grand opening weekend featuring performances by Black Coffee, Fehrplay, and the legendary Danny Tenaglia.

"We are bringing our collective experiences from past projects and expertise from operating eight editions of the BPM Festival to the NEST nightclub experience," says Vito Tomasicchio in a press release today. Tomasicchio is a director at BPM director and one of three operators behind NEST.

Tomasicchio is partnering with Phillip Anthony Pulitano, the BPM co-owner and Blue Parrot Beach Club director, and Rob Oliverio, the current owner of RYZE, to rebrand and reorganize the space. NEST will host a steady line-up of international acts on Fridays and local house music acts on Saturdays. The adjoining restaurant will also be in full swing, offering a tapas menu with late night hours.

This will be the third rebranding of the space in recent years, previously operated under the name Moskito+Bite before RYZE. Third times the charm, right?
