In the midst of a wild first night of the 2016-17 NHL season, one crazy fan took it upon himself to remind everyone that the OHL is still a thing.The Mississauga Steelheads took on the visiting Guelph Storm in front of a crowd just shy of 2,000 people at the Hershey Centre on Wednesday night. And in the midst of an 11-3 blowout by the hometown Steelheads, one crazy—and most likely stupidly drunk—fan decided to make a scene and get the dull crowd riled up by jumping over the glass and running (and sliding) around the ice.

Although it was a dangerous and stupid thing for this fan to do, I kind of feel bad for the guy… a friend probably just texted him that Auston Matthews scored four goals in his NHL debut, and he went crazy after realizing he missed the epic performance in favour of a boring OHL game.
