Stream Mat The Alien’s “Really Good” Exclusive Mix

He didn’t name his label Really Good Recordings for nothing.

Mat The Alien is far from a bedroom producer confined to the world of laptop beat making. Since moving to Canada in 1995 for the love of snowboarding, Mat's career has grown to exceed the heights of hometown Whistler, Canada. With him, he brought a musically fulfilled background of UK acid-house to North America. Since then he's been shaping the west-coast music scene through the origins of the Bass Coast and Shambhala music festivals, and spinning sets that jump genre to genre, filled with pumping, heavy beats and bass, effortlessly pleasing any and all crowds.

In this exclusive mix, expect nothing less than the above-mentioned genre-jumping journey including the likes of trap, hip-hop, drum and bass. After listening, you may experience a strong urge to purchase a flight to Whistler to party with Mat, like THUMP did earlier this year at the World Ski and Snowboard Festival.

It's time to get used to the fact that Mat The Alien didn't just name his label, Really Good Recordings for nothing.

Christine wishes she could make beats like Mat The Alien. Instead she posts on Instagram and Twitter.
