As we noted in a recent feature, Vancouver has suddenly become the new Canadian hot bed of music, shirking the title "No Fun City." Producers and labels seem to be pouring out of its streets, including parvenu tape label 1080p. It's most recent gem is the Maligne Range EP by enigmatic Vancouver-based techo producer Laura Sparrow who performs as LNS. The 6-Track EP was released yesterday, and includes the free single "Minas," which conjures the elusive and hypnotic techno work of Aurora Halal and Terekke.
