Rory McIlroy Hits 253-Yard Clutch Shot Like a Heat-Seeking Missile to the Pin

The ball veered into the sky with an insane amount of draw, only to line up cleanly along the pin, almost whispering its way to an albatross.

Rory McIlroy won the Irish Open in about as much style as possible. For a minute there, it seemed like Russell Knox was going to snuff out the Northern Irishman's three-shot lead at the opening of the day as Knox closed out the gap by the 14th hole, but McIlroy had some pure fucking wonderment up his sleeves. Namely, this unbelievable second shot on the 18th hole—a par 5.

Yes, but it wasn't McIlroy's longest drive on the day. On the 16th hole, he went for 271 yards to yet again find green.

McIlroy's Rory Foundation was in fact the host on the day, but as everyone knows, hosts are the last people to have fun at their own parties. Seems like McIlroy found a way, though.
