There is a new Iron Man triathlon world record. Reigning world champion and reigning German Sportsman of the Year Jan Frodeno put up a time of 7:35:39, beating the standing record by 5:56. Good job, Jan!

Joe Cole scored a legitimately dope goal for the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Joey's still got it!

In the Tour de France, Chris Froome is 1:47 ahead of the pack, as of this writing. He was not penalized for that weird jog he took after crashing the other day.

Zinedine Zidane has reportedly taken his two sons, ages 21 and 18, who both are part of the Real Madrid academy setup, on Madrid's pre-season tour. Life is good when your dad's the coach.
