Good morning, America. It's July 18, 2016. Welcome to the VICE Sports World News Roundup. Be sure to stop by every morning for more headlines from around the world.

There is a new Iron Man triathlon world record. Reigning world champion and reigning German Sportsman of the Year Jan Frodeno put up a time of 7:35:39, beating the standing record by 5:56. Good job, Jan!

Joe Cole scored a legitimately dope goal for the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Joey's still got it!

Congratulations, Henrik:

Warning, this video of poor Demba Ba breaking his leg is not fun to watch!

In the Tour de France, Chris Froome is 1:47 ahead of the pack, as of this writing. He was not penalized for that weird jog he took after crashing the other day.

Zinedine Zidane has reportedly taken his two sons, ages 21 and 18, who both are part of the Real Madrid academy setup, on Madrid's pre-season tour. Life is good when your dad's the coach.
