Caron Butler Celebrates Lakers Win With DuckTales Dance

If Lakers success were gold, there'd be precious little this season to go swimming in. So even a win against the Kings on Tuesday night—which saw Sacramento join Los Angeles in the Western Conference cellar—is considered cause enough to celebrate.

Caron Butler, who's now pulling analyst duty on Spectrum Sportsnet, was feeling the Lakers 99-86 W, and so he decided to crank your prototypical celebration jam: the theme song to the 1987-1990 hit adventure cartoon DuckTales. Here's a cut from the studio:

But let's just examine this for a second: you know you've nailed a theme song when 28 years later, people can sing the lyrics verbatim, but probably not even be able to tell you the name of more than five characters on the show (Huey, Dewey, Louis, Scrooge, Launchpad… shit). Anyway, I think the one set of lyrics Butler and all Lakers fans can hold on to is:

When it's seems they're headed for the final curtain
Bold deduction never fails, that's for certain
The worst of messes become successes!

Because at 13-27, this season has been a…Duckblur.
