Explore Bud Light Sensation with Eric Prydz

There is no singular God within dance music, but Eric Prydz is surely its Prophet.

At this point in Eric Prydz' star-studded career, there isn't much to say that hasn't already been countlessly dissected, analyzed and praised. Journalists, writers and dance music fans worldwide have waxed poetic on the sublime Swede's ethereal productions and performances to the point of nausea. Yet, all that chatter still doesn't do the man proper justice. To put things in layman's terms: the dude is simply on another level, our Personal Jesus, as it were.

We have less than three weeks to go until Bud Light Sensation: Into the Wild covers the Toronto Rogers Centre in a "sea of white." The spectacle is more than just an array of lights and loud noises; it is also a unique and lasting experience—more akin to a sensory journey than a rave. Uncoincidentally, the event promoters have brought back the unimitable Prydz, who helped propel last year's Sensation event in Toronto to legendary status.

From the pulsing, pounding dark techno productions of his alter ego Cirez D, to the ebullient and uplifting progressive house tunes released under his Pryda moniker, Eric Prydz offers an ever-changing audial journey of up, downs, highs and lows. As for his mixing, well there is a reason that the word "EPIC" is an anagram for "Eric Prydz In Concert."

His almost unearthly ability to weave together songs makes his sets much, much different than your typical mainstream EDM DJ. Forsaking "the drop" in favor of telling an immersive story, Prydz' performances offer casual dance music fans a chance to peer through the looking glass and realize that there is more to electronic music than cakes and hotel heiresses.

Want more proof of Prydz' prodigious talents? Check out a few of his past sets down below, including his once-in-a-lifetime EPIC 3.0 performance at Madison Square Garden—to better prepare yourself for the what is shaping up to be an unforgettable evening.
