Keys N Krates and Pomo Take Home 2016 Juno Awards

While the main televised Juno Awards ceremony goes down tonight in Calgary, yesterday the Canadian Academy of Arts and Sciences (CARAS) handed out a number of awards, including Dance Recording of the Year and Electronic Album of the Year. Toronto trio Keys N Krates' "Save Me" (featuring Katy B) won the former category, beating out songs by A-Trak, Sleepy Tom, and others, while Vancouver producer Pomo took home the latter for his record The Other Day.

This year's competition wasn't without controversy—Montreal's Kaytranada took to Twitter after his song "After All" was disqualified for being ineligible, while many artists have been critical of the nominations' gender imbalance and lack of diversity.
