Donald Trump gave himself a big ol' pat on the back Monday morning for saying the weekend explosion in Manhattan was a "bomb" before the news did, Politico reports."I heard I was criticized for calling it correctly," Trump said in an interview with Fox & Friends on Monday. "But what I said was exactly correct. I should be a newscaster because I called it before the news."Trump told a crowd at a rally in Colorado Springs Saturday night that "a bomb went off in New York" immediately following the explosion, before law enforcement commented officially on what had happened. Later that night, Hillary Clinton also referred to the explosion as a "bombing," on her plane, but was quick to reprimand her opponent by saying, "I think it's always wiser to wait until you have information before making conclusions, because we are just in the beginning stages of trying to determine what happened."But rather than discuss the aftermath of the bombings, Trump decided to focus on the "biased" media and slam his opponent. "Hillary Clinton used the word 'bombs' shortly thereafter, and nobody said anything about it," Trump said Monday.
