Barcelona Pulled Off A Miracle In Champions League Last Night

This is ridiculous.

Exploiting the empty space left unattended by Meunier, Luis Suarez slips inside, right in front of the goal. A predator searching hunting tiny gaps in PSG's back line, a cross is cleared horribly by Marquinhos. Suarez, taking advance of a rebound, lobs it above Kevin Trapp. Goal. 1-0 read the scoreboard, at two minutes and twenty eight seconds, it was the opening paragraph of a Barcelona victory that might surpass the greatest comeback in Champions League history.

Andres Iniesta skipped through the Parisian back line, his first touch on the ball had solid control, Layvin Kurzama stumbles to clear. Own goal. 2-0.

A through pass glides its way past Meunier; losing balance, he falls and tackles Neymar on his heels. Penalty. Messi, who has recently missed chances with such a golden opportunity, didn't repeat his mistakes on this one. 3-0.

A lob pass from deep in the midfield is taken advantage of by Edinson Cavani. 3-1. An away goal for PSG, Paris explodes with joy thinking the worst is over.

Free kick by Neymar, on the edge of the box, curves deep to the top corner alluding Kevin Trapp. 4-1. Paris still leads one goal, two minutes from full time.

Suarez falls on a clumsy challenge by Marquinhos which leads to a Neymar penalty, 5-1. Paris leads by aggregate in the last seconds of the game.

Neymar chips the wall. Sergi Roberto, who came off the bench, stays onside to take his chance. Goal. 6-1. Shouts of disbelief fill the stadium:

The last time they met, Barcelona was blown out 4-0 in Paris. In the aftermath of the game, many started to doubt the dominance of Luis Enrique's team.

"If they could score four, we can score six," Luis Enrique said. Either prophetical vision or the same kind of bravado that carried greats like Muhammad Ali to be become legends, it doesn't matter, the outcome is the same.  As Luis Enrique's final season at Barcelona is coming to a close, moments of magic produced by his team last night have already cemented him in the history books.
