The election is less than two weeks away, and at last count, 250,000 of us in the 18-29 age group still hadn't enrolled to vote. That's a quarter of a million Kiwis who need to get across the line if they want to have a say.
Voting has officially started but it's not too late to enrol and have your say. In fact, you can enrol right up until next Friday, September 22. (The election is on September 23, btw.) For those who have enrolled, we want to celebrate with you. We know, we know, choosing the next government is already enough of a buzz, but to revel a little more in the joys of democracy we've teamed up with some of our favourite businesses all around the country. They're providing exclusive discounts or freebies to you VICE readers if you walk in and show you're enrolled already. All the info you need about how to enrol or vote now is below.
To prove you're enrolled, check your details are up to date here, and take a screenshot. We'll be updating this list over the next few days, so keep checking back.
