Photos That Remind You to Never Grow Up

Rebekah Campbell's snapshots make you want to stay forever young.

New York–based photographer Rebekah Campbell's work combines elements of fashion and documentary photography. Her candid snapshots have been published by i-D, the New York Times, and Dazed. Each image she takes is like a diary entry that captures the excitement, emotions, and experiences of her 20s.

"I am attracted to people who have an energy about them that is young and romantic, something that makes me feel at home when I look in their eyes," Campbell explains. "My work is the translation of youth and growing up."

Some of Campbell's most compelling photos are taken in the wee hours, a time when it feels like anything can happen. For Campbell, shooting the end of a great night is synonymous with her refusal to surrender her "golden years."

"The series reflects my insomnia and sense of vigil in keepings moments alive," she says.
