Since the news broke of his passing this weekend, tributes have been pouring in for venerated British broadcaster and Radio 2 disc jockey Terry Wogan. The presenter, who died following a short battle with cancer, was a figure much beloved for his work on the likes of Children in Need, his breakfast show, and everyone's favourite vox-pop-based televisual opinion slinging contest Points of View. Yet, it seems we didn't know everything there was to know about the Limerick legend. A few short years ago, he was in fact known to many as T-WOG$, host of an underground pirate radio show. Replacing the likes of Steeleye Span for liquid riddims and live MCing, it's a hugely under-appreciated corner of a diverse broadcasting career.

Okay, so we're not being entirely truthful. The show is in fact the work of comedian Peter Serafinowicz, whose uncanny impression of Wogan is only topped by his equally on point work as Marlon Brando. It's a testament to the warmth and familiarity of Wogan as a figure in radio that this sketch works so well. Get locked in below. Wogwan.
