King Krule Rocked Up On Stage in Paris with Mount Kimbie Tuesday Night

He joined the duo's Trianon show for two tracks, "Blue Train Lines," and "You Took Your Time."

King Krule's tour behind his album The Ooz (if you didn't know, we decreed that it's the third best record of 2017 recently) has taken him to lots of places, and happily, it landed him in Paris at the same time as his pals in Mount Kimbie. What else to do but to join them onstage?

Performing together at Paris' Trianon venue, which Mount Kimbie described in a statement as one of their favorite venues, they played "Blue Train Lines"—featured on Mount Kimbie's Love What Survives, and also on Noisey's 100 Best Songs of 2017 list—as well as "You Took Your Time" from all the way back in 2013. It's a triumphant performance at the end of what has been a banner year for both acts, and it's a treat to hear King Krule's baritone echoing round a space large enough to do it justice.
