A New Bar and Venue Called Birthdays Is Opening in Dalston

Because a new venue and bar called Birthdays is opening there next weekend.

Next weekend will be a momentous one in British history as Birthdays, a new bar and venue located on Dalston's main strip, opens its doors for the first time. Housed in the hollowed out shell of what was once a faceless retail unit, the workforce behind Birthdays have turned the premises into a kind of dream-chamber-cum-fun-factory that will be the arena for all your best nights out this summer and beyond. It has a stage and pretty lights and pumps that craft beer will come out of, and a kitchen that will serve food late into the night. Serenading the venue into existence next weekend will be Maria Minerva, Stay+, Trevor Jackson, Male Bonding and other assorted bands and DJs who will be playing there as part of Dalston's annual Land of Kings festival. Birthdays will open fully in May, working up through the gears as it plays host to a tonne of parties and live nights. For full listings and to keep in the loop with what's going on at Birthdays, visit its website and keep an eye on the Facebook and Twitter pages.
