Plymouth's kind of unfairly characterised as a place full of old people and moth-ridden charity shops packed high with Patrick Swayze VHS collections. They’ve also got an art college though, which, coupled with the mecca of British Heart Foundations, is probably the reason why Art Is Hard Records have been murmuring out small, fuzzy-pop singles for the past few years.Almost two years to the day since Breathe Out released their debut EP, they’re gearing up to release another and to celebrate they’ve just put out new single "Dead Friends", proving that perfectly formed, grainy guitar music can be put out outside of the co-ordinates of Shoreditch.
