Rico Nasty's Already Great "Key Lime OG" Is Even Greater with Shy Glizzy

The DMV rapper drops a remix to her fan-favorite single from 'Sugar Trap 2.'

Nobody channels rage quite like Rico Nasty. The rising DMV rapper made a name for herself in 2017 with a handful of bangers that, while mostly reinforcing her self-confidence, let listeners know that, if you try her, you will have to deal with the repercussions. One of the best showings of that was her single "Key Lime OG," which sounds like a joining of an Anime soundtrack and trap. If the beat isn't enough to get you to act out, Rico's fervor definitely will with lines like: "Drinkin' Ace of Spades, you drinkin' apple cider/ When I see that hoe, I’ma fuckin' fight her/ Mike Tyson, I’ma fuckin' bite her."

The song has become a fan favorite since it dropped late last year, and its video now has over a million plays on YouTube. Rico turned it up a notch Friday for her hometown fans when she released a remix of the song with Southeast DC's Shy Glizzy. It's even better than advertised.Rico kept the same verses as the original cut, but Glizzy a.k.a Young Jefe's already-nasal tone gets even weirder with autotune. And as he usually does, Shy wastes no time staking his claim as the biggest thing out of The District: "King of DC, I'm from Southeast where it get gritty/ Me and John Wall the richest niggas in the city."
