Tonight at Tender Trap in Greenpoint, Superchief Gallery is hosting the closing show of photography by Edwin DeLaRosa, Destiny Mata, and Jude Liana. The three photographers all grew up in New York, and their work reflects an authentic understanding of the city’s grit and excess. “Their work shows a New York City that is still as intimidating and real as the children that were raised here,” Superchief director, Ed Zipco, tells The Creator’s Project.Catch a sneak glimpse of the works below, and hit up the real event tonight from 6-10 PM.Click here for more from Superchief Gallery.Related:New York City Takes Public Art to the Digital RealmSee Rare Photos of The Police, LL Cool J, & More in a New Photography ExhibitionStreet Artists Recall 80s NYC in Brooklyn Navy Yard Installation
