Here's a Trailer for the New Iggy Pop and Josh Homme Movie, 'American Valhalla'

The documentary tells the story around Iggy's brilliant 'Post Pop Depression' LP.

Last year, Iggy Pop released his eighteenth studio LP, Post Pop Depression, one of his finest in decades. Josh Homme was called in to produce the record with Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders and QOTSA/Dead Weather multi-instrumentalist Dean Ferita rounding out the band. How Iggy and Homme—both distinctive, genuine rockstars—came together for the record has been explained to Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore. But now there's a movie coming out, American Valhalla, co-directed by Homme, that will apparently tell the story in full, from of album's production through to the subsequent world tour. "I became one of those singers whose career is a slave to his band," Iggy explains in a new trailer below. "I wanted an emotional escape. So I decided I had to strike out on my own, live and on record, to see what I was worth."
