When a person thinks of sports cars, they might picture sleek designs and incredible price tags. One probably doesn’t think of smoke, unless one is thinking of exhaust. When Romanian graphic artist Octavian Mielu thinks of iconic sports cars, he thinks of their physical forms replaced with dynamic neon vapors. Mielu recently released his first collection of Smokey Iconic Cars. Totalling 31 cars, it includes smoky versions of the Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Shelby, Ford, Pagani and others.

“Why [did] I make them?” Mielu muses. “Because I love cars. I tried to select the best colors to represent them (the brand or the model). For instance, the Pagani Huayra is a combination of gold (the presentation color) and the purple (from the exhaust system).”
