These pictures were all taken during a trip to Northeast China and Siberia. I used to work as an assistant for Jacob Aue Sobol who is currently engaged in a project about the Trans-Siberian Railway, and I was fortunate enough to join him on his travels.I saw this trip as a perfect way to start up a new project myself, although I'm not quite sure what it all will come to yet. And I still have 60 undeveloped rolls of film lying at home. It's definitely about alienation and arriving somewhere that you have no grasp of whatsoever and then hopefully in the process of understanding your surroundings, you might learn something about yourself, as well.We previously showed off Albert's work from his series What Sort of Life is This
