Renowned for vibrant cultural events--including its annual Nuits Sonores Festival, Contemporary Art and Dance Biennale, and Festival of Lights (Fête des Lumières)--last week the city of Lyon, France, welcomed the second ever edition of the Mirage Festival. Centered around new media arts and digital creation, the event brought some of the most innovative names in digital media to this French city already known for its cutting-edge tastes.

Dolus & Dolus, teaming up with the Mapping Festival Geneva and AADN, presented over 5 days of new media. Working towards the promotion of digital culture, the three organizations invited a diverse audience made up of aficionados, amateurs, and curious individuals, all to explore what's next in innovative digital creation.

Using 12 spaces spread throughout the city, artists and professionals delighted with a hybrid program exploring the meeting point between today's audio and visual practices. Interactive installations, exhibitions, and A/V performances followed one another, featuring Ryoichi Kurokawa, Nonotak, Noitu and Benjamin Muzzin, to name but a few.
