These Cheeseburger Spring Rolls Can Cure Any Hangover

Bookmark this recipe for New Year’s Day. Or just the next time you fancy a Big Mac in egg roll form.

Is there anything that doesn’t taste better in a roll? Think about tuna in a sushi roll or the cream that oozes out of the sides of a homemade Swiss roll. And breakfast burritos are obvs a superior way of eating eggs and bacon.

Even cheeseburgers taste better in roll form. Bear with us on this one.

RECIPE: Cheeseburger Spring Rolls

The cheeseburger spring roll is the proud, albeit slightly unhinged, creation of London chef Brendan Fong. To make this Franken-fast food, you crumble burger patties with onions, gherkins, and cubes of American cheese, as well as plenty of mustard and ketchup.

Now for the spring roll bit. Pack the mixture into a pre-made spring roll wrapper, then fold and deep-fry until golden. The result is a crispy, Big Mac-esque bite that tastes great dipped in burger sauce and can probably cure any hangover.
