Everyone's Fighting Everyone in the New 'Game of Thrones' Trailer

"Enemies to the east. Enemies to the west. Enemies to the south. Enemies to the north."

After months of speculation, leaked spoilers on Reddit, news of spinoffs, and badass dragon photos, the official Game of Thrones season seven trailer is finally here—and everyone is going to war.

"Enemies to the east. Enemies to the west. Enemies to the south. Enemies to the north," Cersei Lannister says from the Iron Throne, and she's probably more right than she realizes. Not only is half of Westeros plotting against Lannister rule, but she's got the undead White Walkers to worry about far north of the Seven Kingdoms.

Meanwhile, Daenerys Targaryen is landing across the sea with her mega force of horsemen, dragons, warriors, and vikings. "I was born to rule the Seven Kingdoms. And I will," she says, assuming there still are Seven Kingdoms to rule, when all is said and done.

After six seasons worth of murder, pillage, war, and zombie attacks, it seems there would hardly be anyone left in Westeros to fight. But the new trailer makes it clear that total war will soon wash over Westeros. We see Lannister troops marching, a gigantic dragon soaring over the Dothraki horde, and soldiers stabbing other soldiers left and right. Meanwhile, Jon Snow warns that "the great war" with the true enemy—the armies of the dead—has arrived. As Ser Davos Seaworth says, if humanity doesn't band together, it won't "matter whose skeleton sits on the Iron Throne."

Season seven of Game of Thrones airs on July 16 on HBO.
