UEFA Housing England Next to 80,000 Partying Fans the Night Before Their First Match

England should anticipate a headache to a dubstep beat in the morning.

England and France may share a Chunnel, but that doesn't mean they have to be friends. In fact, it would behoove France to take advantage of being on home turf during the 2016 Euros with some gamesmanship, as the two teams might cross paths—if only in the finals. Either way, UEFA has given France a prime opportunity by housing the Three Lions right next to the site where up to 80,000 French fans are planning to party until the wee hours of the morning before England's match against Russia.

According to The Guardian, Marseille's fan zone is set up directly across from Golden Tulip Villa Massalia, the four-star hotel where UEFA has assigned Roy Hodgson and the lads.

The fan zones are supposed to close at midnight but Uefa say "exceptions will be made on certain nights" to keep them open longer and Friday is the one occasion in Marseille when they have permission to continue until 1am.

The opening game will be shown on two screens, and the festivities will be capped off by an artist called Cerrone, who is regarded as "the master of French disco." Quelle discothèque. England should anticipate a headache to a dubstep beat in the morning.
