Old habits die hard. Tiger Woods learned that in semi-embarrassing fashion on Tuesday afternoon, during Ryder Cup action at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Minnesota.
Woods has been selected for seven Ryder Cup teams over his career, but is not part of the 2016 squad for obvious reasons – he has not played in months and has not been good when he has played. Still, he's on hand this year as a vice-captain, though unfortunately the vice-captaincy doesn't get you into the team photo. So, Tiger had to step down.
He took it reasonably well, too – once he figured it out, anyway. When the photographer initially kicked Tiger out of the photo, he simply moved to the other side of the group. When he finally wised up, he got out of the frame and gave a little salute to the photographer. Hell, he even managed a laugh.
