Listen to Two New Songs by Sampha and XL Recordings Boss, Richard Russell

XL Recordings owner Richard Russell is releasing an album of his own this year titled Everything Is Recorded. A gifted musician in his own right, Russell has worked with greats like Gil Scott-Heron, Bobby Womack, Damon Albarn, and more. On Monday night, Richard had XL's Sampha as a guest on his show on London's Reprezent Radio.

The first song is titled "Close But Not Quite" and can be heard at the 53:58 mark. The second, "Everything Is Recorded," comes at 1:13:51. During the show, Russell also revealed that artists like Kamasi Washington, Syd, and Warren Ellis will be featured on his album. Listen to the two new tracks below.
