Dorian Concept, Deradoorian and Nightfeelings Get Frisky on This RBMA-Inspired Babymaking Jam

Austrian experimental-electronic artist Dorian Concept popped up on THUMP radars a number of times in 2014, particularly with his excellent Joined Ends album released on Ninja Tune. His characteristic swells of high-brow bedroom pop had us giddy with feels for months. A storied Red Bull Music Academy graduate, Dorian paired up with 2014 participants Nightfeelings (Nick Weiss of Teengirl Fantasy) and Deradoorian AKA Angel Deradoorian, multi-instrumentalist and hipster nobility after her stellar work with Dirty Projectors and then Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks on a track titled "One."

The result of the trio's collaboration is a laid-back alt-R&B tune with a sultry bassline and Deradoorian's vocals swooning atop, still notably inspired by Dave Longstreth's warbly range. If this one doesn't get you in the mood, you got some issues or somethin'.

Elsewhere on the co-lab heavy 2-disc release, Zebra Katz, Lafawndah, Branko and Xosar contribute, in addition to secondary appearances by all the artists on this track. The release is available to download and stream as of January 21st at RBMA.com and applications for the 2015 edition of the Red Bull Music Academy, to be held in Paris, open on the same day.
