Young Thug was arrested in Brookhaven, Georgia on this past weekend. Reports at the time stated that the rapper, born Jeffery Lamar Williams, was being charged with one felony drug charge and a misdemeanour for tinted windows. But the full list of charges is now reportedly more extensive. Per Billboard, Brookhaven Police have charged Williams possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of Xanax, possession of codeine, possession of ecstasy, and possession of a firearm during a violation of the Georgia controlled substance act.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Williams and two other men were arrested Sunday after Brookhaven Police pulled over a 2016 Mercedes Benz Maybach on Clairmont Road. The officers stopped the car suspecting that there was an illegal tint on the windows but, on further inspection, they were well below the limit. They then searched the car after smelling cannabis and found two firearms and an array of drugs.

"I will do everything that is lawful and ethical to clear Mr. Williams of this false allegation," Williams's attorney, Brian Steel, told the Journal-Constitution.
