Queens Of The Stone Age Are Properly Back With "The Way You Used to Do"

The first single from the freshly-announced 'Villains' is lively and sinister.

Queens Of The Stone Age formally announced their return yesterday afternoon, confirming a new Mark Ronson-produced album called Villains. This morning, lead singer and extremely cool man Josh Homme appeared on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show to premiere the album's first single, "The Way You Used to Do" and it his streaming services immediately after. It's a lively track, built around an off-beat handclap and, as QOTSA tracks should be, it's a little sinister. "So lay your hands across my beating heart," Homme croons, still dripping with disdain and regret, like a man in a constant lip-curl. Listen to the track in full below.
