In the run up to Objekt's 2014 LP Flatland, the Berlin-based dark techno deconstructionist released a white-label called "The Stitch Up." That vinyl-only rarity is now available in digital formats, after Objekt uploaded it to Bandcamp today. His Bandcamp page describes the track as a "club rework" of "One Stitch Follows Another" from the album.In "The Stitch Up" Objekt sets a subtly menacing, atmospheric tone which he intersperses with erratic industrial spurts and spookily gentle bells, repurposing the album original into a club-ready powerhouse without sacrificing its grim sentiment.Objekt's taste for unconventionally delightful techno has impressed us before, check out his Kern Vol.3 mix, one of THUMP's favorite mixes of 2016 so far.
