Watch a New Video from DFA Records' Shit Robot

Watch the LED-studded new video from Shit Robot, featuring Nancy Whang from LCD Soundsystem.

If you don't know DFA Records then you probably get out and about as much as one of the swamp folk from True Detective. DFA is the beloved NYC indie dance label that gave the world awesome things like LCD Soundsystem, Holy Ghost!, Juan Maclean, and are part of the reason why everyone and their mother had Daft Punk playing in their house—their house. And if you're a gear nerd you better call that on-demand underwear delivery service because you're gonna need some new drawers when you see their studio.

The label's head honcho, the legendary James Murphy, was recently quoted saying that most commercial EDM makes him feel sick to the point of vomiting. So naturally the label's next release, which contains today's single, "Do That Dance," would shy away from any of the typical EDM fare. Better yet it's a grooving, fully funkified thumper from label signee, Shit Robot, who recruited another beloved DFA player, Ms. Nancy Whang, the vocalist from LCD Soundsystem.

Get yourself lost in Nancy's dancing silhouette set against Shit Robot's funky bass stabs and silky synth lines. And with lyrics of love—you'll find it easy to do the dance to this one.
