Danish brothers Jonas and Micki Borneland work in simple shades. Their sound is one of pulled back, cool electronic patterning with an honest emotional pull, and it's a sound that serves them very well. We've been intrigued to hear more from the pair since they broke through, and their most recent single "Eyes" is exactly the sort of realisation we were waiting for. The track, featuring Line Gøttsche, is a brooding, tentatively optimistic bit of a dark-room pop and it's got a video full of romantic mysticism to compliment it.The visuals, which we are premiering today exclusively on THUMP are an elegant piece of work. A physical expression of the track's fascination with intimacy and communication, the video is shot with just the sort of closeness the track itself inspires.
