On the weekend, a band called Shwayze uploaded a video to their YouTube page. Based on their name, you'd think that they were a troupe of film star aficionados with a strong affection for Dirty Dancing. Turns out they're just disingenuous arseholes who spend all day tweeting how "down ass" their fans are, but turn out to have as much respect for them as Lil Kim's plastic surgeon has for good work ethic.In the video, they purposefully turn up hours late to a show, leaving their fans to fester in each other’s armpit residue, all the while boasting about how late they’re going to be. It’s basically the worst type of marketing video that I’ve seen. The band has probably realised it too, since they’ve deleted the video from YouTube.
