Two years ago, a then-19-year-old Rejjie Snow self-released his debut EP Rejovich, and subsequently dethroned both Kanye West and J. Cole for #1 on the iTunes UK hip-hop charts. Not bad for an unassuming Dublin MC. In June this year, Rejjie made his proper international debut with “All Around the World”, produced by Chance the Rapper collaborator, Cam O’bi, which racked up over 250,000 plays on Soundcloud in a matter of weeks and seemed to be on Apple Radio every time we tuned in when it launched. We also premiered his new single "Blkkst Skn" last month - another certified earworm, featuring Kaytranada and Rae Morris.Rejjie sold out Noisey-hosted shows at Birthdays and the Old Blue Last in less than an hour, and the same can be said of his upcoming headline show at Scala in November.
