You Would Be Stupid to Miss Out on Fresh Island This Summer

The festival have just unleashed some new additions to this year's line-up.

Question: what's better than a rap festival? Alright, clever-cloggs. Yes: there are a few answers. But I think we can all agree that a rap festival which is guranteed to take place in unlimited sunshine and on the golden-sanded beaches of Croatia is at least twice as good as what us Brits have come to expect from most other festivals. Which, in all honesty, usually amounts to a pair of waterclogged socks, some over-priced and under-cooked cheesy chips, and a regrettable fancy dress costume.

As a festival that fits the exact description above, Fresh Island is likely to be one of the places you're going to want to spend this Summer. Because not only will there be near infinite amounts of sunshine and sand, they're also going to be welcoming some of the best international hip-hop and R&B talent. Today they've announced some new additions to their line-up: namely, The Game, Kehlani, and Chip, who join a line-up that already features Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign, DJ Premier, and a bunch more. In previous years, the festival has booked everyone from Snoop Dogg to Skepta, JME to Joey Badass, so with a full line-up announcement still to come, you can be sure that there's more in the bag.

Get your tickets here, for the very welcome price of £75 for the entire three-day event. Then: look on, and imagine yourself having as much fun as Big Narstie did at last year's Fresh Island. Imagine: you, one of the lads or lasses, living it up pool side with the man himself. Isn't life great? Namaste.
