John Legend Doesn't Approve of Kanye West's Visit with Donald Trump

"I’m pretty disappointed with Kanye"

John Legend is the latest peer of Kanye West to call him out for having a meeting with Donald Trump on Tuesday morning. West claims that the meeting was conducted to discuss "multicultural issues," but Legend is calling his bluff. During an interview with French TV show Clique, he said:

"I don't think it's impossible to talk to him about issues, but I won't be used as a publicity stunt. And I think Kanye was a publicity stunt. I'm pretty disappointed with Kanye that he says he would have voted for Trump. I think Trump has been corrosive, his message has been corrosive to the country and I think the things he's promised to do have been very concerning for a lot of people. And for Kanye to support that message is very disappointing…. Whatever was in his mind, I disagree with him."

Early today, Kanye tweeted an autographed cover of Donald Trump's Time Magazine cover for Person of the Year that read: "To Kanye: You are a great friend. Thanks."
