Ed Sheeran Would Like to Host a Gang Bang for Ginger People

Apologies to anyone who has recently eaten.

Ed Sheeran is ginger. This is neither a good or bad thing, it is just a thing. Or at least it was, until Sheeran – perpetually the sniggering boy leaning over the seats on the school bus because he's not quite in the group, but he's joining in the conversation anyway – brought up gang banging. Please see below:

During an interview with Studio Brussel, a Belgian radio station, Sheeran chats to a fellow ginger who suggests that they procreate in order to save themselves from extinction. She also presents him with framed photographs of their future children, which is a level of extra that I personally would be very on board with, if it did not involve the idea of Ed Sheeran spawning new life.

Eventually the conversation ends in old Ed getting a bit carried away and jokingly suggesting that the ginger people of Brussels should all have "one big gang bang" (not before mentioning, that he definitely has a girlfriend, guys), and doing a pleased-with-himself David Brent laugh. This is basically the equivalent of when you're at a party and everyone's riffing on a joke until someone inevitably takes it too far and nobody laughs and everything gets a bit weird and awkward. Only in this case, the person telling the joke is a massively successful star with lots of clout in the industry, who's less likely to get the awkward silence in return. Let's just leave this with the determination that it would be a good thing for all if Ed Sheeran could refrain from saying the word "gang bang" onscreen in the public domain again, for the good of humanity.
