Drake Mysteriously Showed Up in a New York City Parks Powerpoint

Akon, too, for some reason.

Oh, that Drake, always finding himself in places where you wouldn't expect him. What a rascal! But seriously, it's pretty tough for Drake's cultural ubiquity to surprise at this point, as all media and artforms have played host to him in some capacity. Everything, that is, except slide shows.

As unearthed by Brokelyn, a recent presentation by the New York City Parks Department regarding Fort Greene Park features a visualization of a proposed wheelchair ramp that is populated, puzzlingly, by Drake's immortal Degrassi character Jimmy Brooks and Akon, as can be seen above. Another example of the Department's sense of bizarre, Microsoft Paint-derived rendering humour can be seen below, this one not featuring Drake.

I don't know how this happened, but it was likely a successful attempt to brighten up the assumedly rote world of Parks and Recreation. Truly, the aesthetics of the recently-deceased MS Paint will never die and never cease to entertain. It's also Akon and Drake's first reunion since the former passed on signing the latter. They have still not collaborated and never will because it's not 2009 anymore, which is tragic on multiple levels. Ah well. Here's the entire presentation by NYC Parks, in case you're curious.
