Aeroplane's Fantastic Comeback Single Sees Him Ready for Take Off

"Love On Hold" might just the the silkiest, smoothest thing we've heard in ages, and we regularly listen to Smooth FM whilst wrapped in silk sarongs.

Good news everybody—Belgian cosmic disco don Vito De Luca, AKA, Aeroplane is back, and what a triumphant return it is.

Featuring the vocal talents of Tawatha Agee—who you'll probably recognise as the singer of "Juicy Fruit" by Mtume, and who has also worked with the likes of Luther Vandross and David Bowie—Aeroplane's return to the dancefloor is an addictive, chunky, glittery stomp of a low-slung boogie record and we're seriously considering whipping out the sparkly bellbottoms that have sat in the wardrobe since we last saw Chic and demanding that any DJ we encounter in the next few weeks plays it for us.

"Love On Hold" might just the the silkiest, smoothest thing we've heard in ages, and we regularly listen to Smooth FM whilst wrapped in silk sarongs so we've got a pretty good grasp on both the silky and the smooth. We'd like to think so anyway. Judge for yourself by streaming the whole thing in all it's luxurious radiance below. Oh, THUMP UK takes no responsibility for any notable increase in the country's population as a result of what might happen after listening to this record…
