ALMOST EVERY POP CULTURE REFERENCE FROM TARANTINO'S MOVIES
To the average Joe, chronicling the many occurences of Tarantino's trademark pop culture lingo in historical order, from Chaplin to Lohan, may seem (to put it bluntly) unnecessary. But we're in YouTube land, and in YouTube land this video is two things: (a) surprising in the fact it's not been made before and (b) a masterpiece on par with the Sistine Chapel.

Gaspar Noé, the director of Enter the Void and Irreversible, is better known for using nausea-inducing drone music in his films than conventional ‘song’ songs. But his latest gig in the director’s chair, for Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ “We Know Who U R” music video, shows he can fuse this kind of music with film just as ingeniously.
