Leafs Players Win Toys at the Carnival

Jake Gardiner and Nazem Kadri went to the CNE and won a bunch of big stuffed animals.

Athletes are normal humans who spend their off days just like the rest of us. For Maple Leafs players Jake Gardiner and Nazem Kadri, that meant taking in the Canadian National Exhibition—a.k.a. the carnival—in Toronto on Tuesday night. Going to the CNE is a summer tradition many folks in Toronto partake in.

Endless unhealthy food options, crappy rides, big crowds, and the smell of barf—what's not to like?

Gardiner posted a lovely photo to his Instagram account showing off the swag he, Kadri and another pal won, accompanied with the caption, "When your stuffed animal game is on point. #carnivalgames." The trio scored big.

Carnival games are fun. Who said the Leafs never win anything?
