Good morning, America. Welcome to the VICE Sports World News Roundup. Be sure to stop by daily for your morning headlines.

It's the 24th of November, 2015, and Sepp Blatter is still, technically, president of FIFA.

FIFA's Ethics Committee is seeking a lifetime ban for Michel Platini, according to his lawyer, who described the punishment as "pure scandal," which, incidentally, would make for a great FIFA-branded vodka line. Meanwhile, Sepp Blatter, the man who paid Platini, is reportedly facing only a seven-year ban. Although a seven-year ban for the 79-year-old Blatter might as well be the same punishment. Still, the logic here is a bit wonky: it's worse to receive a bribe than pay it?

The Los Angeles Dodgers hired the first minority manager in team history. Dave Roberts (known around New York as Dave Fucking Roberts for his pinch-run stolen base against the Yankees in the 2004 ALCS) will replace Don Mattingly. Baseball has long had a problem of passing over minority candidates for old, white guys.

Real Madrid pranked the world yesterday. The club's president, Florentino Perez, called a press conference yesterday after Madrid's 4-0 loss to Barcelona. Everyone expected manager Rafa Benitez to be sacked. Instead, Perez announced he had full confidence in the manager.

Paris Saint Germain will replace the "Fly Emirates" sponsorship on their jerseys with "Je Suis Paris" for two matches, in tribute to the Paris attacks.

British heavyweight Tyson Fury (excellent boxing name) says boxing has a "big problem" with doping. He then gives a quote so full of meatheaded goodness that JJ Watt suddenly started smiling involuntary: "Boxing has got a big problem with drugs. But it doesn't bother me because at the end of the day it's about determination over drugs."

Puyol said he rejected an offer to become an assistant coach at Inter because he's still adjusting to post-soccer life. VICE Sports would like to officially extend an offer to Puyol: come and work for us. We'll help your post-career transition by letting you do whatever the hell you want. Puyol looks pretty happy in retirement.
