THUMP Presents a Weekend of Indie-Dance Awesomeness at California's TBD Fest

Pretty Lights, Chance the Rapper, The Glitch Mob and more headline the genre-spanning Californian festival this year.

TBD Fest in Sacramento, California has grown from a scrappy little thing with a few hundred attendees in 2007 to one of the dopest boutique festivals in America, with 30,000 expected attendees this year. The lineups merge indie-rock, hip-hop and dance music in an ingenious way that actually makes sense—more like a true reflection of your iTunes library than the random mish-mash of artists that so many other festivalsfall for.

Which is why we're excited to announce that this year, THUMP is partnering with TBD Fest (September 18-20) to cover the craziness from every conceivable angle—look out for a series of feature stories, mixes, video in the coming weeks.

The lineup this year has got Pretty Lights, Chromeo, The Glitch Mob, Ratatat, Madeon, and A-Trak on the dance tip. Indie fans can look forward to Tears for Fears, Tycho, Purity Ring, and Dinosaur Jr. While on the hip-hop front, Chance the Rapper, Tyler, the Creator, Mobb Deep, and Death Grips will bring the ruckus.
