God, this is insufferably stupid, but we're talking the NFL and selfies, so that is to be expected. Last year, in the lead up before his first start as an NFL quarterback for the Tennessee Titans, Zach Mettenberger posted a bunch of selfies and was generally just a relaxed, goofy dude. Texans ambulating side of beef J.J. Watt didn't appreciate it. When Watt sacked Mettenberger during the game he celebrated by pretending to take a selfie."It's just kind of a reminder this is the National Football League, not high school…Welcome to the show," Watt said after dancing around like a dickhead because he did what he is paid to do. TO BE CLEAR: celebrations are awesome and fun and more players should do them. More players should also be more self aware when they tell a guy to grow up for taking photos, is all I'm saying.For some reason, though, Mettenberger brought the whole thing up again in an interview with Campus Sports and pointed out that Watt is kind of a hypocrite.

This seems like a fair point to make, albeit a fair point in a depressingly stupid and passive aggressive argument between two adult men."J.J. had to say it's a bit high schoolish that I take selfies, and I think he still rags me on Instagram every time he posts a selfie," Mettenberger said. "At the same time, if that's high schoolish, he got a letterman jacket made -- a Texans letterman jacket.
