Radja Nainggolan Scores a Mind-Melting Goal for Belgium

The kind of goal you dream about, while kicking out your leg like a little sleeping puppy.

Wales vs. Belgium: there couldn't be a more cult-favorite matchup in this year's Euros. Well… unless you had a Northern Ireland vs. Iceland matchup—but still, this is a damn close second. You've got Wales, the tiny slice of Britain with a population of 3 million, and one-three-millionth of that population being Gareth Bale. And Belgium, who is seeing their youth fully develop into a fearful world power.

Well, it was the Belgian old man, 28-year-old Radja Nainggolan who netted the first goal on the evening. And what. a. goal. Despite the wet conditions, Nainggolan found the ball laid in front of him with yards upon yards of daylight from the 18-yard box, and absolutely rocketed the ball past Welsh keeper Wayne Hennessey. Hennessey was only able to get a fingertip on it, but goddamn, it seemed near unstoppable. The kind of goal you dream about, while kicking out your leg like a little sleeping puppy.

Let's just drink that in with a little bit of milky slow motion, shall we?

Just so, so nasty.
